Our Mission
To keep local communities moving
It’s no longer enough to be a fantastic UK-wide e-hailing service, we need to do more. Here at UVA, we want to help support the everyday people, the little guys, the underdogs; because their stories are worth telling. From working with local communities to ensuring that we fully support all of our drivers across the country, our mission is to serve you.
We aim to go above and beyond when supporting local communities. We have worked with a number of charities, including the Trussell Trust. From book donations all the way to praising local heroes. We are always looking to do more, as we believe companies should look to better communities, not just take!

How to use UVA
Booking a UVA local driver is easy. Firstly you will need to download our app (another app we know!), and fill in a few details. Once done, all you need to do is ping where you want to go, and a driver will arrive at your door in no time. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy!
It’s that simple, and once you have the UVA app downloaded, you can book a minicab with ease. What’s even better is that you will be supporting a local driver and their family.
So, how do we do it?
Well, it’s no easy task creating a fantastic app that connects you to 100s of local drivers and fleets in your area, but we have managed to achieve the impossible! When you use our app, your booking will be sent out to independent local drivers and fleets, where you can then select a driver of your choice. Remember, the power is in your hands…
“It’s great using UVA, they have made my life that bit easier. They also make sure I am paid for the hours I actually do which means that I have more confidence in supporting my family!” – Ryan
